Final Fantasy Games
The games
The two FF games I suggest you play are FF7 and FF10. This page will be a comparison of the two games.
The story
The story of 10 is a rather good one. It involves a Blitz ball player named Titus. He hated his father in the beginning and loved him in the end…a little old right. The story of FF7 is the greatest out of the series. There are so many twists and turns in the plot that you don't know what's happening next!! The main character in this one is cloud. He is and ex-solder that seems to have lost him memory. So ff7 wins this round.
Game play
Now the battles are one they same turn based system, but FF10 has a different way of subbing your team in the middle of battle. You can substitute out any of your teammates for the other. This is something that made this game very popular. On FF7 you couldn't do this so you would have to fight with whom you had in your party at the time, which made it more difficult. But in 10 different people had their own set of powers and abilities. On 7 you could use every one to cast magic and heal, on 10 you need to sub most of the time to do this. But over all it is a cool feature that 10 has over 7
Mini games
Now 10's main mini game was blitz ball (an underwater soccer type game), I enjoyed playing this more that the actual game. This alone is reason enough to buy ff10. FF7 had a verity of mini game from boxing, snowboarding, to riding a motorcycle. So it had more but none where as entertaining as Blitz ball. FF7 only mini game that could compete was the raising and racing of chocobos.
Raising Chocobos
FF7 had a great way to raise chocobos. You would fly around the world to get a certain nut used to bread chocobos to create a new more powerful form of bird. Them you would race them to win money and prizes. FF10's chocobos where (at the very least) horrible. It was a dumb way to try and make it fun to ride them, in all reality they should of left this out of the game.
The “Bad Guy”
In 10 the main bad guy is some girly like priest with girly blue hair. In 7 the villain is a bad as with a 6-foot sword that burned down a whole town. Hands down ff7's sephiroth beats FF10's Master Seymour any day!
The endings
Now both endings where GREAT! The 2 best out of the series. 10's was a little more creative and left you feeling that the story was done, where as 7 left you wondering what happened.
Over all I suggest that you play both of these games or, I hear there remaking 7 for the PS3. That would be the first game to buy for the system. Until my nest report, have fun playing these games.
